Who we are

Playables is operated by CloudExchange Inc., doing business as CloudX. Read the CloudX Privacy Policy for our full privacy terms, including your rights, international transfers and retention practices. This page adds details about Playables.

Information we use

• Your account. We use WorkOS for sign-in. Your account can include your email address, name, profile picture and an account identifier. When you choose Google, we request your email and basic profile information. Passwords and email verification codes are handled through WorkOS.
• Your playables. We store the HTML files, posters, titles, prompts or descriptions, categories and creator information you submit, together with ownership and sharing settings.
• Your activity. We record likes and playable views, play attempts and time viewed. Share analytics may include country and device type. Those analytics records do not store the raw IP address or browser user-agent string. We use PostHog for cookieless usage analytics (pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and page load performance), which sets no cookies and builds no personal profile.
• Service operation. Our servers and service providers process network and request information to deliver the site, authenticate requests, prevent abuse and investigate errors.

How we use it

We use this information to manage your account, store and display your games, provide sharing and creator analytics, enforce upload limits and keep the service working.

Sign-in cookies keep you authenticated and help protect account actions. WorkOS and Google process information during authentication under their own privacy policies.

What other people can see

When you share a playable, anyone with its link can access the shared content. Publishing it in the gallery makes it discoverable there. Shared details can include the title, prompt or description, category, poster and creator name or picture. Avoid including private information in content you share.

Creators can see analytics about their playables. We also use service providers for authentication, hosting, storage and operating the service. The CloudX Privacy Policy explains other disclosures and the rights available to you.

Your choices and deletion

You can edit your playable details and manage sharing from My playables. Deleting a playable removes access through its preview and share links. It does not mean every stored copy, backup or operational record is erased immediately.

Use content you have permission to use

When you upload content or request a remix, you confirm that you own or have permission to use the content involved. This includes assets imported from an app or website link, as well as code, images, video, audio, fonts and branding.

Your permission must cover processing by Playables and its service providers, modification, and your intended use of the result, including advertising. A public link does not by itself grant these rights.

Permission to provide the service

You retain your rights to the content you provide. You grant CloudX permission to store, copy, process and modify it as needed to provide the features you use, and to display and distribute it according to your sharing choices. This includes using AI service providers to process your requests.

You are responsible for checking that content you generate, share or download respects others' copyright, trademark, privacy and likeness rights. Generated content may resemble existing work, and Playables does not guarantee that it is free of third-party rights.
